Default Mark Wagner

Sox minor league catcher Mark Wagner has been having a productive season in single A, opposed to his otherwise lackluster short debut in Lowell. He's been named a South Atlantic League All-Star this season. Not saying he'll keep it up to be our next catcher, but he's someone Im gonna keep my eye on.

Scouting Report: Sturdy catcher's frame. Excellent at throwing runners out. Good gap power and contact at the plate. Leader, good game caller. Improved significantly in 2005.
