I wouldn't exactly say Pedro will be easily replaced. But your point about all the freed up payroll ~$17.5M is true if Pedro does walk. I'm hoping that if it happens that Theo can be creative with the money. The free agency market for starting pitchers in 2005 isn't exactly brimming with quality talent. But through the market and/or trading I'll put my trust that ownership will find near suitable replacements.
