the sox havent had a lefty stud since hurst left after 88
this isnt bruce hurst
this is the best lefty in the game and a guy who has a 1.20? career era in the bronx
and its not as if hes 35 and its not as if hes coming back from injury either.
is it a gamble?
ya its a gamble
so was signing pedro martinez to a 7 year deal as we watched his bigger brother ramones shoulder fall off....

i guess the diff is we are on top now,have a legit ace in becks and a solid supporting staff
we hold the cards and these problems are problems i used to dream of having.
