Colon will be inconsistent, that is the nature of the injury. His FB was always straight as an arrow and we lit him up like a Christmas tree. His biggest calling card was how well he threw his curveball off of his FB. If he truly is throwing mid to high 90s again, then the questions that you need to know are..
A. Is he locating well enough to be effective
B. Is he locating his curve
If both A and B are yes, then he is a steal. If not, he might have the velocity, but he wont be very useful.

If he is healthy and throwing mid-90's, he will be better than anyone in the Yankee rotation, but he'll be the Sox 4th or 5th starter.
