I don't seriously think you altered the order, but if you're going to give me shit then I'm going to give you shit. The way negotiating usually works is I aim high and await your counter. You had no interest in ofering a serious counter-proposal, which is fine. I move on. Did I seriously expect to get Griffey and Reynolds for that, absolutely not, but I have to start somewhere.
And to say those rankings are meaningless is a little redundant, I think. Obviously they're nt the be all, end all definitive rankings that tell you just how good a player is, but they give you an idea relative to other players at that position. If I thought that was the case and the rankings were absolutely legit, Livan Hernandez, ranked over 600, wouldnt be my 3rd starter. You have to at least consider them when making moves though. If you have any interest in talking Reynolds, then feel free to make me a reasonable offer, or one that is at least semi-serious, and we can take it from there. If not, peace!
