I didnt mention Nomar once.
I said that both were better offensively than Lugo. I never once said Lugo will provide more than any of them.
I didnt backtrack on Cabrera either. I said he was better than Lugo both offensively and defensively. I said I was not a Cabrera guy.....how you got your opinion of what I meant, I dont know.
I said I was a Renteria guy......again, do a little research on these boards, and that will back it up.
My opinion of them does not switch on a daily basis. Ill restate what Ive thought all along:
I never once mentioned Nomar......ever. I really have no clue where you got this.
I have never been a Lugo supporter.
I would much rather have had Renteria or Ocab.
I was not sad to see Ocab go.....although, like my grass is not greener on the other side statement would indicate, either of the two would be preferred today. I appreciate now what those two brought to the table. They were both very good players. I am not backtracking on Ocab, I thought he was a good player....I just thought Renteria would be better, and it did not turn out for the best.
Go back through the old threads man. If you can find anywhere where I said that Lugo would provide the offense missing since Nomar (and again, I have NEVER brought up his name) I will admit I am wrong.
