Woah woah we all know that Eckstein was a good signing because he plays tough. He's so gritty that his lack of producing should be overlooked.
But honestly, I don't really think that contract was that awful. It was only one year and only for 4.5 million dollars. If it doesn't work out, which it looks like, he'll be gone next year.
