There are 2 types of Yankee fan suffering:

Those who despise the Red Sox like they banged their wives will think 2004 is the worst.

Rational, none "hating the Red Sox is bigger than life" think 2001 is the worst because they were about to win a WS.

Finding the middle point is fun.
