Personally, I like "major league" beacuse I'm more of a comedy type of guy. Sure field of dreams and bull durham were good, but I like to laugh.

"No way! Too high!"

1. Bull Durham- hillarious and very clever
2. Major League- "Just a bit outside."
3. Field of Dreams- tears me up
4. Eight Men Out- very underrated and very good information
5. Sandlot- You're killin' me Smalls!
6. The Natural- very inspiring
7. For the Love of the Game- also inspiring
8. Major League 2- decent laughs

For Love of the Game and The Natural, while not great movies, were EXCELENT books. I know this topic is geared more to movies, but anyone that's literate and a Baseball Fan (I'm assuming if you're on this board you're both) should read them.

I also hear W.P. Kinsella's "Shoeless Joe", which is the book which Field of Dreams is based on is also very good. I want to read that also.

BTW- Mostly the only books I read are baseball books (The Teammates, At Fenway, Summer of '49, The Long Ball, etc.).

Sandlot is the best baseball movie ever. "The Jet stole home, the Jet stole home!!"
Major League is an excellent baseball movie. "Too high, too high!"

Has to be Sandlot. It's friggin' hilarious and so true. That's exactly what backyard baseball is like, plus more swearing.

The sandlot has got to be my favorite. It's one of the most classic movies ever made.

I'm partial to Rookie of the Year and the Sandlot. Both are great movies, especially for kids. Major League wins in the comedy section, but I probably like these other two more.

Absolutely The Sandot.

"You're killin' me Smalls!" - Hamilton "Ham" Porter

Honorable mention will go to the original Major League and who could forget The Bad News Bears?
