It's random, could be on first log in, after a post, any time a new page loads basically.

The purpose of that thread was to compare this year's rotation to the rotations of past seasons at the beginning of those seasons, since I think it is the worst I ever since while some think it is good enough going forward. The idea was to create a honest and civil debate about the actual rotation. Since it has a direct relation to the FO and some posters hate the critics to BC and his crew, unfortunately these days we are are talking about pessimist vs optimist or objective vs subjective, etc... which is worthless.

The state of our pitching is a huge concern not just to fans, but I heard last night's pre-game radio show and Farrell is very concerned as well. I don't recall ever seeing a code of conduct similar to what some other forums have. If somebody gets out of line, click the little triangle to report the post. Although from what I've seen in my brief time here, I don't have a lot of faith in a mod doing too much about personal attacks. Also people have the option of putting somebody on their idiot/ignore list which comes in quite handy.

The ad on the bottom of the page has been acting really wonky the past few days. Sometimes it just loads over and over and over. The issue is that if I go to respond to a post while the ad is constantly loading, my typing will often be halted midsentence. Is there a fix for this? The only thing I've been able to do is scroll down and x out the ad when I encounter the issue.

Anyone else have this issue?

The sling ad loads, but one of the other ones seems to just load over and over and over and over making a pain to post on here. I know I'm probably just screaming into the wind on this one.

This site for whatever reason has issues uploading videos, and sometimes even photos, the easiest work around would honestly probably just be to upload the video to Youtube, then post the link to the video here.

I asked for the mods to intervene several times, but they were MIA for months. Allowing it in the beginning was a mistake and it spiraled out of control from there.

I will make a political analogy and if the mods don't like it and want to ban me, so be it. The dereliction of the mods had the direct effect of turning this once fun forum into the internet equivalent of Portland where night after night we had a riot. If you guys don't want to moderate this forum, maybe you should pass it onto someone else who will look after it.

I was just tired of a few posters carrying their political opinions and rants into several other threads, and continued to do so despite requests from several posters not to do so, especially when you were allowing politics in the "Anything Goes" thread.

My feeling is that if you want to discuss politics, go to a political forum.

At any rate, we could probably use a couple of moderators who are here on a regular basis.

And let me also say that I think this is a great forum and it's usually a fun place to come to post about baseball. We just need to lose the politics running over into the other threads.

I'm sorry for not really being that active this summer. I have a lot going on at the moment. I have banned Swiharts Ghost due his excessive trolling and rude behavior towards other members in the few instances he isn't trolling, he is name calling and acting like a complete moron.
