Portland, I agree. It deserves a baseball team. Isn't it the largest market without one?

Mexico City or maybe some city in the Caribbean, like on Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic, ya know something new. Also Tokyo would be a good one. The otehr countries deserve atleast one MLB team, I mean they make up bout half the league.

Find cities with at least 2 other sports franchises (of major 4) without a Baseball team.

I'll put those at the top of my list after Brooklyn.

It wouldn't until Tickets cost 1 peso, player intrest are at 0, and a player's injury is eternity, the cause being murder.

We have to think realistically. Where would there be interest in baseball?

New Orleans has to be a shoe in, it's host to superbowls every few years, and has pro basketball and pro football team.

Portland is alright in my mind, but there's better options.

Haiwii and Alaska are not populated enough IMO.

I still like Las Vegas even though it is a longshot.

If I had to pick two, New Orleans and Indianapolis.

Why are we "expanding"? Isnt the idea to weed out bad managers and keep it stocked with top-notch ones? Who wants in so badly?

Just like it to be known I am absolutely against expansion. That said...what about Rome or London? That would be sick. Team has to fly 6 hours minimum every road trip. And if you choose Dallas then the Texas Rangers will DEMAND compensation (see Peter Angelos v. Washington Nationals).

So does that mean you're going to want Bonds as compensation, or just Vlad? Or maybe Sheets? (note: referring to Texas' comment)

Yankees will tell Bud Selig not to allow it, and Bud Selig will of course oblige.

London, Rome? Do you wanna be watching games at 4:00 in the morning?

It looks like New Orleans and Las Vegas are the favorites, I vote for both of them, next step, naming the teams. :)

I have to say I'm against expansion 100%. Division re-alignment? sure. Elimination of the wild card? Absolutely. Expansion? No thanks.

That being said, why not Burlington, Vermont? Population: 40,000. That's right, we draw at least 2500 fans for Vermont Expos games, and would SURELY have snow delays throughout April AND October (when they make the playoffs).

I have to say this idea is the best I've ever come up with.

I don't really think a expansion is necessary but if so I say we vote between :
NJ
Vegas
New Orleans
Cooperstown

Then we vote on a name. I think Vegas should be a team cause theyd go in the nl west to have div have 5 teams.
