The Orioles announced on Monday that they have signed free agent lefty Steve Kline to a two-year contract. The 32-year reliever posted a 1.79 ERA for the Cardinals in 2004. Baltimore also acquired infielder Chris Gomez from the Phillies

Good signing for the O's. Kline is a quality lefty reliever, and the injury he suffered last year probably won't have much of an effect on his ability to pitch this year.

BJ's going to close this year, they'll probably going to look to trade Julio.

Last year was Ryan's first good year. He's inconsistent as all hell, so I imagine the O's wanted a sure thing. Anyways, it can't hurt to have two good lefties.
