OK, there were several reasons why we closed the league down, but the first and foremost reason was that the sim league was the root of just about every argument and little bitchy fight on the site. Seriously, even the Yankees - Red Sox rivalry is relatively civil around here. The sim league arguments basically boiled down to:

"Shut up."
"You shut up."
"You're a poopy head."
"My daddy can beat up your daddy."

And, for every one person who "cared" about the league, there were 10 who didnt. Did you notice that no posts were made in about the past week, and that no sim has even been TALKED about in forever?

It doesn't even matter anymore, everyone just lost interest, only like 10 managers who really cared anyway.

We had asked for these not to be posted

There's one if your interested. I was fed up with the bitching, so I quit simming.

I dont' think that people quit because they lost interest, I think they quit because new sim leagues were created. In that week or so when this league didn't sim people got tired of waiting and created new sim leagues expatiating that the sim schedule would be kept, etc. Then the GMs who joined got so caught up in these sim leagues so they quit this one.
