Write him in at the bottom. I think you can do it up to 25 times and email 25 friends. All of Red Sox Nation is doing this, so he may actually have a legitimate shot of making the team.

I voted but in writing in Ortiz as a first baseman, (there is no DH this year), it knocks Kevin Millar out of the voting box.
Do you know if there is a way you can vote for Ortiz without knocking Millar out of the voting?

Big Papi Ortiz got 25 votes from me too. Hopefully he'll make the team. He might be the best 1B/DH in the AL by the time the All-Star Game comes.

Even if he doesnt win in the votes, he will most likely make the team as a reserve

This isnt answering your question, but I voted for Ortiz as well.
My question is: what is in your avatar? Is that Pesky? Who is behind him?

Unless you write in Millar for RF and write in Ortiz for 1B I don't see any other way to get both in.
To answer your other question that is Pesky. And seated next to him is I believe veteran announcer Curt Gowdy.

Good guess Yeszir, that's Pesky and the man behind him is none other than Dom Dimagio. The photo was taken during the Ted Williams memorial last year at Fenway.

Ohhh, I thought it looked like Dom, but I wasn't sure if he was dead or not and I didnt want to sound overly retarded.

Gotcha. Just don't like the fact that it takes Millar out of the running.

Funny stuff Yeszir, Roary and RoyNHSox too (Gowdy was not a bad guess)...
Geez, to think we have nothing better to do than comment about two old f_ _ts sitting in a ballpark, (and if you look even closer), reaching for their personal pocket knifes to clip the ungodly long hairs growing out of each others' ears; can you see that too, "20/10 Ted Williams eyesight", Yeszir?

I noticed it, but I didnt want to say anything for fear of making you all feel puny for not having great eyesight like mine and Ted's.

Haha, what went on in this thread? :D I voted for him, hopefully he'll at least make the team as a reserve. Unless Torre goes apeshit over yankee players again, and picks his entire bench. It pisses me off when he always does that.

Ah it's okay, let the Yankees play an extra game...maybe it will wear them out a bit.

Haha, this is true. Bigger chance of getting injured as well.

Nixon and Nomar? Ugh. They're beyond dissapointing. The mysterious nature of injuries to those guys are unbelieveable. Nomar had that wrist injury from September through spring training a couple seasons ago and it was never dealt with until the season started. Nixon can't tell a strained buttocks from a strained disc in his back. Who knows what's really wrong with these guys.
I wish you could have more than two write-ins. In theory there should be a write-in for each position. I spent all my first spot write-ins on Ortiz then half of the second slots on Millar for OF and the other half on Pokey for SS.
BTW-you can vote more than 25x if you have more than one email address (that's 150 votes for Ortiz, 75 for Millar and 75 for Pokey from me!) I should really get rid of some of these unused hotmail/yahoo emails.
