Hey my name is Smithers™ and I come to you from San Antonio, Texas. Im 16 and just started getting in to professional baseball about 3 years ago. I haven't really been able to catch on with one team in those 3 years, going back and forth between the Rangers, Mets, and Sox. However, after watching every nationally televised game the Sox played in last year's playoffs, I'm hooked. Some might call me a bandwagon fan, oh well. I love watching the Sox play no matter what reason, and I promise you i'll be here at the end of the season, win or lose. I am a veteran poster (3,000+) at SpursReport.com, and I am a season ticket holder for the Spurs. My favorite teams are the Spurs, Sox, and Arkansas Razorbacks. My favorite player is David Ortiz and my favorite pitcher is Curt Schilling (was Derek Lowe until the playoffs, nothing against Lowe, but Schilling was incredible).
Ya'll have a great forum. It and SpursReport are the nicest Sports Forums on the net.

Dude what do you think of Tim Duncan going down?

Were screwed until we get Tim back. Nazr Mohammad and Sean Marks :lol just dont cut it. Right about now we could use Malik. I think he'll definately be back by playoff time, but even if he wasn't, I think we could make it through the second round without him. But were gonna need him to get by Amare or Dirk and then Shaq for the Championship. If Brent Barry would take over like he's capable of doing we would be fine.

Manu Ginobli is great. He's wicked athletic.

Tony Parker is not bad, a little overrated. He's still better than Gary Payton though.

Without Duncan, you've got nobody. Robert Horry? Eh, no.

Without Duncan the Spurs couldn't beat the Celts. But with Duncan, they have a chance at the 'ship.

They better hope they don't draw the Nuggets in the 1st round, them and the Bulls are the 2 teams that no one wants to face come playoff time.

The Nuggets and Bulls are good teams, but the Spurs have been phenominal this season. If the Spurs drew either of those teams I think they would handle them easily.

Ha, Bulls, please. What playof experience do they have? Basically none. If the Chicken Nuggets get The Spurs first round, theyre fucked. Basically to sum up what you said. The two teams you said are probably fucked come playoff time.

haha were definately not worried about the Nuggets or any other 9th or 8th seed. Tim will be back, but even without him we could take Carmela and his creampuff team. Whoever mentioned Manu, he lives a few streets down from me. DRob lives in my neighborhood, on the other side though, and goes to my church.

Living near sports players is pretty cool. In the town me and stocker live in, Martin Lapointe, Glen Murray, Bill Guerin, Jim Rice, and some other ones I cant think of right now have lived here... I one time saw Billy G at the Mobil station.

Varitek bought a house like right around the corner from where I live, and so did Clement.

Yes it's huge. David has his own street called Admiral's Way. It is gated and inside are the most expensive lots in the entire neighborhood. He has a lighted court in his backyard that you can see from the street. You cant see much of the house besides that, but you can tell that it's enormous. I forgot to mention that Coach Pop lives in the neighborhood too. His house is only 1 story and it's on David's side of the neighborhood. Pretty conservative guy. Manu is the same way. He's got a simple 1 story house but it's really nice and fixed up with that Central American style of building.

I don't know if it's true but I heard that Corey Dillon was moving on a street about 2 miles from my house. It's like the richest road in my town so it makes sense. And we're within 15-20 minutes of Gillette.
