with training camps opening in a couple weeks what are some of the best games you have ever gone to.
My favorite is probably in the eastern conference qtrs. when the sabres knocked the flyers out of the playoffs. And when we beat the maple laughs in the easter confernce finals to go to the finals.

No. The best game of ALL-TIME was Bruins vs. Flyers a few years back, 2002 or 2003 I think. Stocker and I were there to witness this game first hand. The Bruins won 1-0 in OT in by far the most exciting and intense game ever. It was Jeff Hacketts first game as a Bruin, still using his Canadiens pads. In the first period, Thornton and Desjardins got in a fight, Joe busted his face open badly. Third period was awesome. They played the Rocky theme song and some random guy stood up and started boxing against the air, and some guy behind us yelled, SIT DOWN ROCKY. It was hilarious. Then in OT I think it was, Kim Jonsson hit a hard slapper from the point and Hackett made a sick left pad save and kicked it out to a defenseman (Gill?). Then he dished it up ice to Rolston who was with someone else (Axelsson?) on a 2 on 1. Rolston fucking blasted it, probably the hardest shot Ive ever seen, and it went in, and the Bruins won. Amazing game. The third period was probably the best period of hockey I have ever witnessed in my life.

Well by best he means our favorite game attended, and yeah it was pretty sick. It was the loudest regular season game I've ever attended there, and it was a great defensive battle plus with all the other factors which were mentioned above, made for an excellent experience.

I went a Rangers/Leafs game a couple of years ago the day after Christmas at the Garden. There were a lot of Canadian fans at the game, in for the holidays so it was loud for both teams. (They booed the American National Anthem, that didn't sit well with us). Toronto got out to a 4-0 by the middle of the second period and the fans were being loud and obnoxious dancing with Canadian flags and such throughout the aisles. Of course, as my luck I'm sitting next to two of them. The Rangers scored to make it 4-1, so we got up and started cheering, and everyone was giving the Leaf fans dirty looks. Toronto went ahead 5-1 and then they starting getting very bad. They were picking fights with Ranger fans and it got ugly. We had to sit there and take it.
Towards the end of the 2nd, the Rangers rattled off 3 goals and each time the siren went off we got louder and louder and the game was become incredibly fun. Going into the 3rd we were down 5-4 and right off the bat we put up the tying goal, and the place was ROCKING. Loudest I've ever heard the Garden. The last 15 minutes were tense, with no goals on either side sending it to overtime. In the extra session, Tom Poti rang the puck off the post which set up a 2-on-1 for Toronto where they scored the game winner.
Despite the fact they lost in OT, it was easily the most fun I ever had at a hockey game.
