I just found Spoon. I'm digging Telephono. "Theme to Wendel Stivers", "Primary" and "The Government Darling" are a nice little three song kick in the ass on the second half.

A little bit of everything from 90's rock.

Decent new bands, new to me anyway, include Halifax, Atreyu, Unwritten Law.

There was another new band I liked when I saw them on TV a few years ago. The band was called "Ours". Apparently they're on tour and coming to Boston later in March, then to Nyack, NY.

Gram Parsons by way of the Byrds then Flying Burrito Bros. Excellent if you can tolerate country (which I usually can't). Sweetheart of the Rodeo (expanded) is awesome. And "Hot Burritos!" is a lot of great stuff.

The song sandstorm by Darude. It's not a new song by any means, but I finally found out what its called so thats news to me. Now I can listen to bomb-ass techno 24/7.

um...i have a pretty varied taste in music...lets see.

i just started getting into the KOFFIN KATS (psychobilly)...really like them alot! I prefer their self-titled album, but "INHUMANE" is ok too.

Another good psychobilly band is SEASON OF NIGHTMARES, listen to "Monster Mash Into The Fifth Dimension"....
TIGER ARMY's new album is actually better than I thought it was going to be, "Music From Regions Beyond" scared me at first cuz the first single, "Forever Fades Away" sounds too much like new AFI, but that song aside, the rest of the album is eclectic, but with enough psychobilly so its not completely alien from other albums.


As for alt. rock/modern rock...I really like the new MUSE album, "Black Holes And Revelations", but if you dont have a copy of "Absolution", their previous album, go pick it up!!! GREAT ALBUM!

Um...Also, the new QOTSA (Queens Of The Stone Age) album, "ERA VULGARIS" is.....um, different than their last 2...unless you're a big fan already (like me) i'd recommend listening to it first before buying it.
