I am under the impression that an over-budget team can only add a maximum of $2 million in a trade. For this trade to work, if that is correct, I believe Gertie would have to fork over $47,500.

Boston gets: SP Chad Gaudin(4.5 Blue Stars) $ 302,500 and RF Craig Wilson(2.5 Gold Stars) $ 1,150,000
LA gets: SP Mark Buehrle $ 3,500,000(3.0 Gold Stars) and Matt Campbell(4.0 Blue Stars) minor league contract
