I know I'm new to the league, but there should be an entry fee for all teams. This way, if someone doesn't keep up with playing, you know they lost their money.

Oh shit...that reminds me. I completely forgot about the $25 I was supposed to send to ORS. Shit, ORS hit me up with your information again so I can get that out to you. Whoops.

If you click on Managers on the league page you'll see when each manager was last active. Average Joes, ?, and Yankshater213 haven't been around since early to mid April.

PS : I noticed you haven't paid any dues/fees, but Average Joes has.

PSS :

Team Name...........Talksox................. Last active..... Dues Paid

Average Joes......... MTBYKR................. 4/16/08......... Yes
? ......................... Crespo Blows.......... 4/01/08.......... No
Yankshater213.......Yankshater213......... 4/14/08.......... No

My money was enroute. Don't worry, I'm in for cash. If I win, I'm donating to charity most of my winnings.

Damn ORS, you barely beat me to Aybar. I was looking at him earlier, looked at some of the numbers to decide who I was going to reluctantly drop to pick him up, I go take a shower, come back and you've got him. lol
oh well.

Now my roster is ready to carry a backup 2B/SS.

Position - # of Players Eligible

C - 1 (with Clement being close, he'll be eligible in another month)
1B - 2
2B - 2
SS - 2
3B - 3
OF - 5

If I can't find good players who somehow have an added extra position, then I try and make sure I've got corner power covered as that leads to more TB, OBP, R, and RBI usually. If I've got good players who do carry extra position (Berkman - 1B/OF, Cabrera - 1B/3B ), then I'll carry back-up MIFs. That way I can cover the run producing positions in multiple ways with less roster, freeing up room on my bench for the middle of the field.

Wouldn't that be 15 Offensive players. I thought you get 9 + 5 bench ( not counting pitching ).

After I got Putz, I have no use for Acosta, and Soriano will still be a while. Plus...I may have a deal or two in the works for Schumaker, so I needed Damon to take his place.

By the way, Schumaker is available. As is every player on my team. Including Arod.

That's not the total number of players. At the time of that posting, I only had 12 offensive players, but some carried multi-position eligibility.

PlayerC1B2BSS3BOF
SuzukiYes
Berkman Yes Yes
Uggla Yes
Keppinger YesYes
Wright Yes
Young Yes
Griffey Yes
Kemp Yes
Cabrera Yes Yes
Clement
Balentien Yes
Aybar YesYes

Twelve players, fifteen YES's. These are rosters as of tomorrow since the trades recorded today and the rosters aren't effective until tomorrow. Since that posting, I've also picked up Iannetta who appears to have won the starting job.

Your team still sucks. LOL!

Anyone want anyone from my team? I haven't made a trade in a few days.
