Question: If a person who is playing for recognition only ends up winning a category (spread or straight), does money go out to the person who got the most right that's playing for money? Say RR15 wins the straight category, and I come in second place. Since he's only playing for recognition and because he won that category, does any money go out at all?

As usual, a very good question. If RedRuffing15 wins, he'll get the recognition he deserves. However, the prize money goes to the remaining contestant with the best record. This is why update post was amended to indicate that 3 more entrants were in the running to win the Straight Category. Those are : Schillingouttheks, Riverside Sluggers, and SFOC. Of course for that to happen, the Giants would have to win. Then the winner would be determined by the tie breaker rule.
