Apparently he already had it. Chad Jennings, SWB beat writer claims to have had that confirmed by Horne himself via text message.

thats a bit of a blow. Damn. Rough yr for him. We'll see how he responds. I think this might mean he'll transition to the pen.

checked on that link over at scout.com. Apparently he had a partial tear which was cleaned up. Not a full tear and should be pitching again in November for the fall league.
