Re: Yankees resign Cairo
Good move. Cheap, dependable and slightly above mediocre. Great guy to have around three days a week.

If he is starting 3 days a week then we are in trouble. Rumor has it that Cairo is insurance and the kid we got in the RJ deal is going to get every shot at winning Cairo's spot.

Re: Yankees resign Cairo
With Cairo solidifying the infield, the Yankees can ride out any injuries to their infield starters and should breeze into the World Series.
Now I sound like the fans here discussing every bit player the Sox get. LOL!

cmon now Gom. You are better than that. Riling up in January only leads to fighting. Wait until the season and riling up can lead to submission

Re: Yankees resign Cairo
Great move. Seeing him will always remind me of the time he trotted around the bases thinking hit a HR while Manny made the catch in the OF. I always gigle when I see him.

Miguel Cairo reminds me of that July 1st game when I thought we were sunk, then he slammed a triple and tied the game bringing Sierra.

I was at that game. I have season tickets in the bleachers, I was waiting by the exit ramp, I was so pissed, and I was leaning over the cement wall in front of where the ball hit. I just remember screaming at the ball to get down. Great game to be at, I'll tell you that, Jacksonian.
