Any other way to watch Yankee games?
the wife is refusing to let me add Cablevision just for YES. We switched to DISH last year in October, which doesn't carry YES, so I want to add Cablevision so I can watch the Yanks this season. Is there anyway I can watch it on the web? I think I might get MLB.tv but I'm not sure if I will get blacked out from NY games since I live in NY. Anyone can lend a helping hand?

I would assume MLB.tv is the way to go. That is the way I am going to have to go when I move back to enemy territory.

Looks like you'd be blacked out. Article is a year old, but I don't think anything has changed.

Re: Any other way to watch Yankee games?
From the MLB media page, here is a link to the zip codes that fall under MLB.TV blackout.
link
Why not dump Dish Network and go Cablevision all the way instead of having both?

Re: Any other way to watch Yankee games?
You also could simply hack dish and get all their channels...not that I know anything about that, but it can be done.

Re: Any other way to watch Yankee games?
sadly youd be blacked out
sorry bout that
what really sucks for me is that i live in Buffalo NY, and cleveland,NYY,NYM, and pittsburg games get blacked out, but i can only watch NYY games, so i pay $160 for MLB extra innings and i get shafted when the Sox play CLE, PIT, or NYM, which is about 9 games per year [if sox play either NYM or PIT]
black outs suck big time

Just take a few dumps and watch them sit in the toilet...same level of "quality entertainment" as watching the Yankees.

That's not mlb.tv, it's MLB TV. One is the service that streams games. The other is the MLB Channel.
