Yikes, Phelps is hitting before Cano? Why?

The bottom of this order is worse than ours.

I guess to break up Giambi and Cano (both lefties). It also makes the bottom of the order stronger.

Three hard hit balls, only one hit though off Rasner.

EDIT: Nice pitch by Rasner on Tejada, inning over. Tejada is not off to the same kind of start he was last year against the Yankees.

Alright, a little bit of small ball produces a run. And then AROD takes the first pitch out. Good start.

I wouldn't be surprised, he might be playing for a new contract.

Millar hits a bomb, rasner has got to keep it down.

Might be in for another slugfest. At least Rasner hasn't thrown a ton of pitches so far. With the way the bottom of the Yankees order looks today, it would be nice it Rasner could pick it up a bit.

Can't let Roberts get on in front of the big bats.

EDIT: I'll take it, got a bit lucky.

Rasner is pitching with blisters on his throwing hands, the Yanks are really desperate for length from their starters.

Please tell me Im reading this wrong... Paul Bako, the same Bako who last year hit .209 with 10 RBIs... hit a clutch 3 run HR to put the O's on top? His last homerun was back in 2004 when he was with the Cubs.

Well the first run though of the 1-5 Yankees starters hasnt been all that grand, who knows if they didnt have a lights out bullpen
