Jacksonian, can you explain when/why there are games when Michael Kay announces and ones where he doesn't? Whoever the primary announcer is on this game tonight I like quite a bit more. Just curious.

Interesting, I guess the A's also lost out on a draft pick by not letting him reach free agency.
Oooh, this is interesting. Haren slipped a bit coming off the mound. Could be a break for the Yanks whether he stays in or doesn't.
EDIT: He's staying in.

The guy doing PBP tonight in Kenny Singleton who usually does color for YES.

Good eye. Have to capitalize here.
61 pitches already for Haren.

I'm certainly familiar with his voice and the name is clearly familiar. Why no Kay?

I'm actually not sure. It seems like YES gives him some series off during the year for whatever reason. Not sure if he is just off or if it is for a personal reason.

Kay takes certain road trips off. He never goes to KC or TB and other choice locations. Kay is a celeb after all.
BTW, ARod stung that ball. Kid is raking this yr.

Re: April 13th Yankees @ Athletics
Hit it well, Swisher was well positioned. Even though they're yet to record a hit this inning it would be disapointing to only get one.
