10/5 @ Cleveland: Jacko's Revenge
Well here it is. The Yankees with a win, take back homefield advantage, and with the advantage with the pitching matchup in the next two games and going home, are sitting pretty. Conversely, with a Yankee loss, the series is all but over, with the Yankees needing to sweep three games in a row to make it. This is it, make or break time. Are these Yankees going to rebound, show some grit after their shellacking last night? Or will they simply fold under the Carmona sinker? A victory shall be dubbed "Jacko's revenge". Let's hope Carmona's sinker has the same bite Wang's did last night.
Stay tuned.

Re: 10/5 @ Cleveland: Jacko's Revenge
Three Indians batters have gone to the plate with a runner on third and less than two outs and all three times they failed to get the run home -- two of them were the teams best two players. Pathetic.

Re: 10/5 @ Cleveland: Jacko's Revenge
It's equal parts pathetic on the Indians part and impressive on Pettittes part. But one player goes up and swings at a bad first pitch? Can't possibly give Pettitte credit for that one.

I'll give you that. But you gotta give the 2 Ks to Pettitte.

The second one to Martinez was with two outs, though, so it doesn't fit what I was talking about, but I'll give you that one. The first one was Grady Sizemore in an earlier inning when the first baseman who's name I dare not try and spell tagged him out and held the runner.
Sizemore and Hafner are great hitters... even with how good Pettitte is throwing you'd think they'd be able to wait until they get a pitch they can get into the outfield, no? And Cabrera's at bat... ugh.
But Fausto Carmona's been incredible, so even with their offensive futility and Pettitte's smoke and mirrors shit, the Indians still have a chance.
Great catch by Sizemore! Wow!

Re: 10/5 @ Cleveland: Jacko's Revenge
Missed a home run by four fucking feet.
Pettitte hasn't been as great as the score would indicate... let's see if the Indians bail him out again. Come on, Kenny.

Bug spray... that's awesome. Man, they have a wicked bug problem there... there's a ton of 'em.
Joba walks Sizemore in four pitches.

Re: 10/5 @ Cleveland: Jacko's Revenge
"Andy Pettite would have been safe from the bugs cause he was calm, cool, and collected".....give me a break....he gave up 7 hits and 2 walks through 6 innings....it could have gone horribly wrong for him

Re: 10/5 @ Cleveland: Jacko's Revenge
Joba throws a wild pitch, Sizemore advances to second and Cabrera advances him to third.
If the Indians fuck this up again I'm going to throw something.
