Moose over 50 pitches in 2 innings with 3 walks. He's got nothing. He won't be on the hill for long tonight.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
If he were Clemens, he'd grab his hammy and walk off the field.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
yet another fantastic move by our soon to be unemployed skipper. Clemens is down for the count. Pettitte and Hughes are unavailable and Wang may or may not have anything. So when he puts Clemens on the inactive roster, he goes out and activates the lefty who cannot get lefties out? Why no Kennedy when Torre KNEW this situation could arise. Instead, we have a tired bullpen and a guy with nothing on the hill while we watch with baited breath to see if he can hold it.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
Moose is at 65 pitches. This year his pitches have turned into pumpkins at the 75 pitch mark.

Goodbye 2007. Another ALDS that we should have won, gone by the wayside. On the bright side, NO MORE TORRE!!!!

I won't give up on this team yet - they did score 8 runs last night.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
Jacko, you seem despondent. First of all, Paul Byrd is on the mound, so a comeback is quite probable. If I were Wedge, I'd be warming up Sabathia about now.

I think Wedge is already working on his starting pitchers against the Red Sox. Knowing the Yankees - that could be a costly mistake.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
Despondent isnt the word. At least the future looks damn good with Torre out of the picture and the rooks looking solid. But losing to Byrd is similar to losing to Rogers last yr. Inexcuseable and terrible. This team should have come to play tonight. And from the 3rd pitch until now, they didnt. Fuck em.
