Sabathia and Carmona better be pitching tomorrow. One after the other.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
Sabathia should be pitching tonight in my opinion. He is a beast and I think he has the ability to pitch on short rest. Especially since he isn't the type of pitcher who strictly tries to overpower hitters. Works well for the Indians should they win......but if they lose......
I have a feeling the Yanks find a way to take game 5. Any word Sabathia may be on hand should Byrd struggle??

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
If Sabathia is on reserve if Byrd struggles, wouldn't it make more sense to have Sabathia start the game seeing as he's the better pitcher?

Why? If Sabathia pitches the type of game where he needs to be relieved by a starter, then the Tribe probably won't win this series.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
I'm happy they're sticking with Byrd and Sabathia for 4 and 5. I don't want to face Carmona needing to score runs. Doesn't guarantee anything, but the way things are shaping up I think the Yankees have the advantage.

Re: 10/8: Cleveland @ New York
Wang is leaving his pitches up. Martinez just missed a high change-up.
