to be honest, throughout watching the movie, I realized that it wasn't the movie I expected to see... but what I did see was a really good movie, I liked the ending but they could have made it a little better, all and all it was a pretty damn good movie... Carrey did an excellent job in his part...

Can we refrain from spoiling the endings of movies in this thread?

Eh, it happens. I don't plan on seeing that movie anyway. Just wanted to get that out there, though, in case a movie comes out that I do want to see.

Yes, no spoilers please. As for Jim Carey, I have to say that Eternal Sunshine is the best thing I think he's ever done. If he had stuck to manic comedy his career would have turned out to be as crappy as Robin Williams'.
I'm intrigued by 23..

ditto a good movie all in all, but its almost like the ending was rushed like they were on a time limit to get it done
For next week my movie of choice is Zodiac. Its based on the true events of the Zodiac serial killer

I was going to rent it, but i found out that it was the third in a trilogy. 21 grams and something else. Are they good, or do you need to see them to see babel?
Also has anyone seen Black Snake Moan. I thought it looked good in a very different, dirty way.

Re: The official Talksox.com movie thread
i updated the estimated top 10 in my previous post. Good word of mouth mustve caught on. The original estimate for Wild Hogs was #1 at 32 million, but now it appear its going to be a $38 million opening wknd... damn
-------
EDIT: Well last night i caught a 730 showing of Zodiac. My opinion its a very good crime thriller, at the same time its best to wait till it comes out on DVD. We're talking a length easily past 2 1/2 hours. I had to get a soda because i was starting to yawn. Onto next wknd now... "Tonight we die in hell!"
