edit: I guess I'll make an actual contribution, actually. My roommates were trying to convince me to get tickets to Harry Potter with them. One of them, an attractive female, loves the whole Harry Potter series and the other, a male, does not. However, he is so ridiculously whipped by said girl, even though they're not dating and more than likely never will, that he agreed to see it with her. I politely said "fuuuuuuck no!", because that kind of stuff ain't my cup of tea. I guess if anyone is interested in seeing it, I'll ask them how it was and then relay the info.

As anyone heard about the untitled JJ Abrams monster movie? This is steadily building buzz mostly because everying is being tight-lipped about it, even the plot line. For now its just being referred to as the date it will be released. 1-18-08, I am intrigued

Yes, I've been immensely excited about it ever since first hearing about it from a co-worker who saw the movie. I haven't seen Transformers, though.

I'm also looking forward to I Am legend because the last man on Earth scenario has always interested me.

I saw the trailer for it last night when I saw Transformers, and it looked really, really good. Glad to see a movie do something original like not tell us what's going on, instead of marketing it out of the ass and giving the whole story away.

I agree very much so. Never go wrong with Will Smith mostly. Like Tom Hanks, he knows how to choose his scripts

I didn't. The only thing that was great about that movie, was seeing Salma Hayek as the buxom entertainer. That corset that she in was a kick-start to early puberty.

Yeah, I just finished watching it. That movie kicks all sorts of ass. I would agree that it's definitely worthy of any acclaim it's received.

i saw it, i dont think it was as funny as the other movies he has been in but it was good. the worst part about it is the one liners from the black women come across as trying to hard.

and talking about the preview that gives away nothing, i thought that was the best preview i have ever seen. i saw it when i went to see transformers and one of the kids i went with said that it was the worst he had ever seen, stupid bastard

at the beginning it was ok, i think towards the end it started getting really played out
