Re: The official Talksox.com movie thread
I saw Harry Potter at the Cape Drive In. Couldn't hear half of it, but it was okay. Didn't do justice to the book.

Re: The official Talksox.com movie thread
SiCKo was entertaining throughout. Too bad it's made by Michael Moore because now no one will pay any attention to it.

The book it was based on was 900 pages. There is no way any director/screenwriter could cram all that into a 2 hour flick. You're better off not trying to compare the two.

Superbad is one of the funniest, if not the funniest movie I've ever seen in my life.

Re: The official Talksox.com movie thread
Anyone see Death Sentence yet?
Decent, saw it last tonight. SOme parts a little far fetched, which bugs me in a supposedly serious flick, but overall I liked it. John Goodman plays a great role.
New find in music too...a band from Vancouver named Pilot Speed. COldplay-ish sound, I like 'em.

Re: The official Talksox.com movie thread
Maybe it's just because I'm a Beatles fan and their music plays such a large role in this movie... but I really want to see Across the Universe. Its a musical, which certainly isn't my style... but I watch the trailer and I really want to see it.

It'll probably suck considering I hate musicals... but I dunno. Worth seeing, I guess.

Re: The official Talksox.com movie thread
I've seen Superbad 3 times and it's still funny.
Can't wait for Good Luck Chuck on Friday and Saw IV.

Re: The official Talksox.com movie thread
Just saw Beowulf... Good graphics, but my advice is that you are better off reading the book
