The Godfather
I just watched the Godfather on AMC tonight as well as played the video game, and I may consider it the best movie of all time. Anyone agree? It is just genius in its storyline, but there is just so much more. Am I alone here?

Have you seen Godfather II? I like it even better than the original. Don't waste your time on III, though.

It's even cooler when you realize that Johnny Fontane is based upon Frank Sinatra. Crazy how dead-on Puzo was with his account.

Getting too close to the TV can damage your eyes.

Re: The Godfather
Godfather I & II are my all time favorite movies. You'll love II jacko! Robert DeNiro is bad to the bone!

Re: The Godfather
II is the best, I is better than III. Like lasorda's speed dial said, III is pretty good also though.

Re: The Godfather
It's obvious what the people who said the Godfather is the best movie of all time are gonna say, but what do you people think of Goodfellas in comparison. I've seen both and I found Goodfellas much more enjoyable.

Re: The Godfather
Goodfellas is also a good movie. Won Oscars as well. Just isn't quite as quality as GF 1 or 2. I'd say GF 3 and Goodfellas are comparable flics. It's like comparing baseball in the 50's to baseball now, same sport, just played a little differently. Donnie Brasco is also worth mentioning here.
In case anybody cares. The Corleone compound that is featured in the second two films is on Lake Tahoe and has been remodeled into about a dozen condos. It's a pretty spectacular place to see. From the road it's all walled in and hidden, but from the water it's friggin amazing. It was built by the guy who started Kaiser Permanente.

Re: The Godfather
I was a great movie and II was its equal. III was a bomb.
