Maybe a shoutbox at the top of the forum. You know sometimes people have random thoughts, and instead of making a new topic they could just throw it there and get responses. Just a thought.

Some of this new shit is so cool! You can now quick-edit your own posts INSIDE the post itself, which rules. Also, you can expand quick reply boxed with the little arrows on the top. And mod changes can now be made from within the thread!

Also of super coolness, try quoting someone and posting it and see what it shows you with a little link. Useful for long threads.
