A Talksox Blog?
I am considering implementing a Talksox blog. Basically, it would work like a community blog where any member of the site could submit a post for approval, upon which it would be published on the main blog site. This way we could get a sweet blog going with a lot of bloggers and a lot of different view points.
Is this something anyone would be interested in? Basically, to make it work, we would need at the very least 5 people occasionally contributing posts in the beginning.
Also, if you have any other ideas, hit me up.

Re: A Talksox Blog?
So they'd be published on a completely different site that can be accessed through Talksox?

It would be published somewhere under the Talksox.com domain, possibly at talksox.com itself with the forum being a subdomain.

Re: A Talksox Blog?
You know, that could be really cool to read. I know a lot of members here have Red Sox blogs...and while I've never really consistently read one single one, I may be more inclined to read it if it was a lot of different people writing it. You get different angles.
Blogger has a feature where you can have different people as members of the blog, but there is one assigned admin that reviews the posts and publishes what they think should actually be submitted. That way, you can have the members submit their posts and edit/submit them at your discretion.
Just a thought.

Re: A Talksox Blog?
Oh, and my website is actually blogger, but the domain itself is not a blogger.com domain...so there is a way somehow to use blogger under the talksox domain.

Re: A Talksox Blog?
I would use something that would integrate into the software we have, allowing us to use the same usernames and passwords and stuff.

Ohhh that would be easier. And I assume the blog would be all about the Sox? Or do you mean a blog for happenings in people's lives, too...like if someone went to a game or something having to do with baseball or the Sox?

Re: A Talksox Blog?
Whatever you want. I'm pretty sure anything could be submitted, but the moderating team would have to approve it. But yes, I'm pretty sure what we're getting at is anything baseball and Red Sox related. If it's your first hand account of a game you attended, I'm sure that would be fine. It would also be nice to fluctuate the styles of writing a bit. A first hand account could be a nice relief from an analysis, for example. Not that analysis is bad, it's just nice to have different types of writing.

What he said. It would be baseball-centric.
