Could We Retire Game Threads?
Maybe I'm just extremely tired and overjoyed from these last couple days, but I think it was last week I was glancing back at the 2004 game four of the World Series thread and I think it would be kind of cool on the game threads page, to have a little section of some fantastic games that would be easy to go back and look at. I don't know if that would be too much work, but hey...this is the comments/suggestion section.
A couple threads off the top of my head that could go on there:
-- The game in 2004 that featured the A-Rod/V-tek fight and Bill Mueller walkoff HR vs. New York.
-- Some of the 2004 ALCS game threads, maybe 4-7.
-- World Series game seven thread.
-- The 17-1 beating in New York from Saturday.
-- 2004 game three ALDS against the Angels.
-- The first talksox.com game thread.
Again, I can't think back that far at 12:30 at night, so I can't remember much from 2004 off the top of my head. I know we had some pretty great ones against Oakland last year as well.

Re: Could We Retire Game Threads?
I like this idea. Especially if there could be easy access to them, because I hate going back and finding game threads.

Re: Could We Retire Game Threads?
We'd probably have to pin them to the top of the forum, but I don't think it would be too much work. I just don't know how cluttered it would be.

Re: Could We Retire Game Threads?
Personally, I like having the threads in order of the games, everything is nice and neat, so that rules out stickying the "important" threads. Also, having too many stickies makes the forum too cluttered and non-navigable. We could have a thread in the regular sox forum with links to the games and a description of each if you would like. Again, I really hate pinning threads unless its absolutely necessary, so we could see if it needed to be put at the top or not.

Re: Could We Retire Game Threads?
Yeah, having all those threads at the top would make it cluttered.

Re: Could We Retire Game Threads?
How was the game, BTW, yeszir? Heard you got to see Shoppach and give Renteria a big ovation, how was everything else (Not counting the huge loss)?
