Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
Nice snag by Griffey, but Buehrle still has absolutely nothing.

Lucky that one bounced into the stands. Get out of it, Bowden.

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
Good K right there.
Bowden's looking fairly decent tonight. Pitch count could be a little better but hey, he's adjusting.

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
Watching the game on WGN. The announcers are patently offensive with their homerism. They make Michael Kay look impartial.

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
To show how slow MLB.tv is, it's 1-1 to Crede and MLB.tv is just showing him come to the plate.
Damn you lag.

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
This is the tough part of the order. I'd give him a very short leash-- one more batter.

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
That change is big time.
I'll tell you one thing I don't get though. I saw a shit load of 0-2 / 1-2 counts where 'Tek called for a FB. I don't know if the idea was to get them looking, but that's generally easier when the FB has some lateral movement, and Bowden's doesn't have whole lot.
EDIT: Like his command, though. He can really pound the 'zone. 62/88 for strikes, and just one jittery walk to the first batter he faced.

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
89 pitches through 5. Hard to tell if he's returning. Pedroia is fucking awesome. 7 for 7 in the series, right?
