Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
After seeing tonight's lineup, I'd go to the movies if I wasn't curious about Bowden.

From the Globe Blog:

Francona said he's taking a lot of grief from both Pedroia and David Ortiz over the lineup, Pedroia who keeps saying, "It's about time" and Ortiz, who jokingly said he will retire.

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
It's very difficult for me to bet against the Red Sox, but with this lineup and this kid on the mound against Buehrle, this is a lock win for Chicago.

there is something to be said about young pitchers making a debut...nobody has faced him or has a real good feeling for what he throws.
....can't say much for the lineup, I love the size difference between our #3 and #4 hitters

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
I was thinking the lineup wouldve been
Ellsbury
Pedroia
Ortiz
Bay
Kotsay
Lowrie
Varitek
Bailey
Cora
EDIT: Pedroia keeps it going

Re: 8/30 vs. Chicago
Kotsay with his 3rd double in 3 games! Tough luck with it being a ground rule type, should be 2-0
EDIT: Back to back ground rule doubles makes it 3-0! Whoa what happened there Dye?
