From the beginning of the season through 6/15/08 his line was .289/.373/.413 with 33 steals. From 6/16/08 - 8/4/08 he was awful, .217/.245/.268. Since 8/5/08, he's been .298/.359/.415. He was monumentally bad for about 2 months. Luckily, the team has survived that. The .360/.415 on-base and slg line he's shown himself to be pretty consistently capable of is excellent for a fielder of his caliber. You might want to cut him a little slack.

Yep. Pitching and defense wins. Jacoby can't pitch but his defense is absolutely incredible.
