5/15 vs Detroit
Jon Lester (3-2, 3.71 ERA)
vs.
Dontrelle Willis (1-1, 3.99)
In his last four starts, Lester has averaged 7.5 strikeouts, with a .98 ERA, and nearly 7 IP. The last time Willis faced Boston, he throw a no-hit 2 1/3 innings.... but with 6 walks and 5 ER.
Palodios-is-wearing-his-Lester-Shirt-Today Mojo is in effect.

Re: 5/15 vs Detroit
Willis was scratched again with a fever. Might be time they actually look into his fever. A fever for 5 days in a prime adult is not typical.

Re: 5/15 vs Detroit
It isnt the best source, but Sterling just said it in the Yankee broadcast after Waldman's look around the majors.

Re: 5/15 vs Detroit
Johnny Damon gets the day off today. Good thing, he has had success against Lester including 2 career homeruns

Major league debut, I think they said. I saw Wells, and for some reason my mind shot to Vernon.
