6/21 v. Padres
Since most people are already discussing this game, I figured I'd start the thread early.
Aceves (3-1, 3.30) v. Latos (4-8, 4.06)
Beckett was scratched due to illness.
Let's win a ballgame.

Re: 6/21 v. Padres
I'd be the same way if I was on the Padres. Such a great player and the team goes no where. With the Sox he has a chance to go somewhere.

Re: 6/21 v. Padres
The question now is:
is he performing just the expected or has overpassed all the expectations so far?

Re: 6/21 v. Padres
On yesterday's postgame show on WEEI, they were talking to Pedroia and here's how it went:
WEEI: "So you're on pace to walk 100 times this season. Now, in the past you've been content to walk 70 times, in that area. What gives this season? Why all the walks?"
Pedroia: "No protection. No protection. We gave Adrian 154 million dollars and I can't get protection, this is unbelievable. I don't care how hot he's hitting, he's hitting .360, I need somebody back there protecting me. I don't want to walk, are you kiddin me?!"
Perfect response.

Re: 6/21 v. Padres
We're facing a righty, so I think that there's a greater chance that Reddick will get the start. Especially with another lefty (Crawford) on the DL.

Re: 6/21 v. Padres
Reddick will almost definitely start today. I think Gonzo is going to have a multi-HR game tonight against Latos.

Considering the available, this is the best lineup you can get these days, hope Reddick can consolidate and take that spot with Drew when CC comes back.
