The good news folks - Contreras blew again. 2/3 of an inning. Brutal.

Yankees now lead 6-5, those damn yanks just don't know how to lose... (except to the sox, they've done that well)

Ok, here's hoping that Pedro skips his usual 1st inning run or two allowed. Old Pedro needs to make an appearance tonight. Nice and warm out there, I hope.

Yurg, NO, the yankees can't win this one! They just can't! They got destroyed in the first inning, you cant bounce back from that.

Even though Vlad just hurt us, he's got to be one of the most fun players to watch. He just swings as hard as he can at every pitch and a third of the time he hits it well.

I believe this is the second straight time that Bellhorn and Youkilis have performed well when set as the #1 and #2 hitters in the lineup.
I also believe this is the second straight game where Francona has made a stupid decision to leave his starter in at the start of the 6th inning.
