Brock Lesnar is a huge man set on revenge against Mir (who turned a Brock beating into making Brock tap out last fight).I am not a fan of Lesnar he has no respect for his opponents or the sport.

I am a huge Frank Mir fan ever since i remember him snapping Tim Sylvia's arm many years ago. I hope Mir snaps Lesnar in half again. My guess is that Lesnar KO's Mir in the 1st, i hope not though.

GSP vs Alves. Fan of both these guys , I think this will be GSP's toughest fight as Alves has serious power in both hands and is well rounded overall. GSP wins a decision in a good fight

Jon Fitch is from the same town I'm from so I'm always rooting for him

Excited for the Henderson vs. Bisping fight because I keep saying how Bisping needs to fight someone decent so he can get beat down and everyone shuts up about him. I guess we'll see if Hendo is that guy.

I love Brock Lesnar. Back when I went through the WWE-crazed stage of my life, I enjoyed watching him beat the s*** out of anyone who came in his way. I knew it was all fake, but there was something about his sheer strength and intimidating presence that told me he could beat the s*** out of any one of those wrestlers if the sport suddenly stopped being scripted. Then he tried out for the Minnesota Vikings and got into fights with the D-linemen if I remember correctly. He's ridiculous. And that sword tattoo is awesome.

Heavyweight Championship unification bout: Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir

Mir has better stand-up, better BJJ, only chance Lesnar has is if he can lay on top of him and drop fists on him for 5 rounds and hope he doesn't get caught in an armbar or something

Welterweight Championship bout: Georges St-Pierre vs. Thiago Alves

I like GSP here, but will never rule out Alves because of his size and power. Alves is awesome but GSP's all around fighting style will rule supreme

Welterweight bout: Jon Fitch vs. Paulo Thiago

Fitch will kill Thaigo. Thiago is coming off an impressive knockout, but Fitch survived a 5 round war in which he should have been KOed big time. Fitch will be back with a chip on his shoulder and win this pretty handily.

Middleweight bout: Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping

Henderson is a much better wrestler, and should be able to throw Bisping around, and I don't think Bisping can knock him out. Only way I can see Bisping winning is by outpointing Hendo.

Middleweight bout: Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alan Belcher

Very intriguing fight. Akiyama can fight, and Belcher thinks he's in the title hunt. Akiyama will have some nerves, so I expect a decision, a split decision for Akiyama.

Preliminary card

Light Heavyweight bout: Mark Coleman vs. Stephan Bonnar

Two of the older guys still around, not sure how much Coleman has left, but showed some fight against Shogun, and Bonnar just got beat badly by Bones Jones. It'll be a back and forth war, depending on how much Coleman has left in the tank, I think he can take down and GnP Bonnar.

Lightweight bout: Mac Danzig vs. Jim Miller

Fight of the night candidate, as the lightweights always end up being.

Light Heavyweight bout: Jon Jones vs. Jake O'Brien

O'Brien is coming down from HW, and Jones is on his way up the ranks. Jones is an awesome wrestler with sick judo throws. I don't think he can KO O'Brien, but he will decision him.

Welterweight bout: Dong Hyun Kim vs. TJ Grant

DHK is fun to watch, good judo fighter, very explosive, I don't know much about Grant though

Middleweight bout: C.B. Dollaway vs. Tom Lawlor

CB is awesome. He comes of as a cocky mother f***er but he can fight. He's better standing, wrestling, and grappling.

Lightweight bout: Matt Grice vs. Shannon Gugerty

Don't know much about either guy, to be honest

I don't really understand how people see that as a cock. I mean, if you really want to stretch your imagination, sure, but it looks pretty much like a sword to me.

Not to mention that tattoo probably hurt like a f***ing bitch.

I bet it did hurt. I guess I just hate on Lesnar because he's such a douche. The rodeo thing he did after he beat Herring was the start of it. He acts like the greatest of all time. He has like 3 wins. Very exciting though i will admit I can't wait to see what happens Saturday.

Yeah, I don't use personal characteristics in determining who I like. If he's an animal at what he does, he's an animal at what he does. Floyd Mayweather is also a douche, but I love how he boxes.

Lesnar acts like a prick, some like it, some don't.

Mir acted like a bigger d-bag on TUF 8, and I really wanted Big Nog to squash him in their fight at UFC 92. He was the first guy to ever knock Minotauro out, which is unbelievable. Brock hasn't "paid his dues" in MMA yet. He'll have his chances in the future. Mir has turned the corner as a fighter, and I want to see him knock Brock's face in.

The HW division is really turning around though. Lesnar, Mir, Nog, Couture, Carwin, Velasquez, dos Santos, Cro Cop is back.

UFC 100 is gonna be ill

Maybe i give Mir a pass because he's been through hell and back to get where he is. I just watched a Countdown to UFC 100 thing on On Demand and Lesnar hit new levels of d-baggery for me. Regardless, as you said, UFC 100 will be great.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time and it's finally around the corner.

Big fan of Mir and Lesnar. Lesnar was born in the wrong period of time. He's such a beast. The guy would have been some famous warrior or some s***. I'm going with Mir though. Brock can KO him anytime but I just think Mir's subs are too dangerous. Any sub to Brock's arm would probly be impossible though.

I hate GSP so I'm hoping Alves KO's him. GSP most likely wins this.

Hendo and Bisping. I just want to see an exciting fight but I will most likely be disappointed. Going with Hendo.

I like Fitch. I'm convinced he will win this fight.

Alves made weight but looked smaller than usual, and couldn't even wait to get off the stage to start to rehydrate.

I don't think he'll go 5 rounds with GSP and stay alive, he won't have the stamina I don't think. He's gonna need to catch him in the first 2 maybe 3 rounds.

Brock Lesnar is a dick, but I will probably always support him in the UFC ring over the fact that he was one of my favorites growing up.

He may not ever be the same after getting his s*** kicked in like that. He'll be okay, but I doubt he fights the same way ever again. He was knocked out cold BEFORE that 2nd vicious punch when he fell to the ground was landed.

Brock Lesnar is a dick' date=' but I will probably always support him in the UFC ring over the fact that he was one of my favorites growing up.[/quote']

I agree that he's a dick. That said, he's my favorite because of the intensity he brings. He's just an animal. I, too, remember him from the WWE days.

I like Brock Lesnar the fighter, just like I enjoyed Chris Benoit as a wrestler. Obviously, as people, the former is a prick outside of the ring and the latter is probably burning in hell at the moment.
