The Rangers are front runners for Garland. It would do him better to stay in the NL. Back in the AL, and in a hitter friendly park wont work out well

Re: 2009-2010 Offseason Thread
He would be better off if he stayed in the NL, but that applies to just about everyone. However, you might be right about the Rangers. In 9 starts at their park, Garland's numbers are bad beyond belief.

Re: 2009-2010 Offseason Thread
per mlbtraderumors....
Mark DeRosa is close to a 2 yr deal with the Giants for $12 mil overall. As of right now, he's set to be the LFer, but could move to 3b should the G-Men pick up Holliday or Bay

It's official. DeRosa passed his physical.
DeRosa deal with Giants confirmed, physical done.

Re: 2009-2010 Offseason Thread
DeRosa will definitely help the Giants, but they still need a couple more bats, IMO. If Buster Posey is MLB-ready, that would go a long way. Should have traded Zito for Bradley. Both have underperformed. Both have big contracts. Both have two years remaining. It probably never even occurred to Hendry.

They had Cordero in the minors last year. Bard will give them some depth, which they need behind the plate. I'm not sold on Rob Johnson.

Na I got it....it just wasn't funny. Rather than comment on the joke I commented on the M's signings.
What are you now, a comedian or something?

Dude.
If she doesn't want to go out with you, don't take it out on me. Get a haircut, buy some mints, and go for it again. No reason to be all pissy like if you were in the middle of menopause.
