You can't be this stupid.

You can't compare possibly compare those two pitchers.

Can the stupid talk, stupid. Let me remind you that you are on the losing end of a bet with me at this moment. I am not saying that Hughes will not have a better career than Arroyo. At this point in his career, Hughes is more advanced than Arroyo was. Arroyo was a late bloomer. The point that I was making is that 90-91 mph stuff is not that outstanding. I was using Arroyo as an example of an unspectcular pitcher who throws around 90 with a more refined curveball. If you want to question the point that I am making, I am more than happy to explain myself, so there is no need to start with the name-calling, stupid. I can't wait for you to be my bitch when you lose that bet.

Are you sure you can call other people stupid?

You can't be so stupid to think I was comparing him to Billy Rohr? The comparison that I made was to Arroyo with regard to his stuff. I mentioned Rohr as an example to show that throwing a no hitter for 7 or 8 innings in your first or second start is not any indicator of future success. I wasn't comparing the two pitchers or their stuff. The last guy to do it for the Yankees in his first start for the Yankees a few years ago has gone into oblivion.

I posted it here last year that he built his stats on the likes of the Nationals. The few times he faced teams that could hit like the Red Sox, he got his head handed to him.

well he did shut out the Yankees. However i think that was just a fluke. I dunno if it was the full line-up. Either way i still like the Hanley-Beckett deal. Beckett is really shining in the Boston spotlight which i doubt Anibel and Hanley could have done with all the pressure on them.

He was bound to get caught up to, his K/BB last year was 1.57 and this year it was .74 eek! He still has a chance to be a very good pitcher though
