He's old and tattered from past injuries as it is. I DOUBT his contract is gonna hold out to 2009, give the man a shutout.

I think the point is to let him be able to make his next start go 7 innings, instead of wasting them on a game they already had locked up.
Of course, a Triple A baseball player may not know that.

I'm discussing it because I want to jinx it. I'm not fond of Myers.
However it's a good game going on, both sides no hits through 4, it's a good pitcher's duel so far.
