Well, everyone, I'm leaving TalkSox now. It's likely that it will be permanent. Despite how slow it has been around here, and despite how annoying it has become due to the Sox's miserable play, I fully intended to continue posting once things picked up. However, now this place is only going to be a reminder of some things I'd rather not have thrown in my face over and over and over again, so I'm going to limit my Red Sox discussion to the real world. I thank you all for being such great friends the last few years.

a700, SFOC, and VA, you both, on top of being friends to me, have helped me out of tough situations in my life the last couple years. Regardless of whether or not I ever come back to TS, I will keep your contact information on hand and one day, when I have a job and I manage to pay for my own food and lodging, I will pay you back for what you did for me. I promise you that with all the sincerity I can muster.
SOTK, you might not read this since you're never here, but I miss you man, and I will continue to. You are an awesome guy. I'll always remember the kid I met in 2005 who wanted nothing more than to listen to me explain how to snag a girl, and who took all of my advice to heart and snagged the girl with excellence.
CD, everything I told you weeks ago is true. You are going far in life. You might be the coolest hipster (the only cool one, actually) that I have ever met, and one of my best online friends. I hope we can stay in touch.

Jacko, what can I say? I hate everything you stand for, I likely hate every movie, song, TV show, and Broadway musical you enjoy, just on general principle. I would revel in your misery if the Yankees never won anything ever again, but for some hideously complicated reason, I still like you. But seriously, fuck the Yankees. Also, have a great life, and congrats again on the new kid. Try not to raise him to be a jerk
