I watched this sreies when it was on HBO, and it was amazing. Now its on the history channel for a short run. I HIGHLY recommend that you all go check it out. Its saving private ryan, but much better and more engrossing. Two thumbs up!

I saw the first one on the history channel, and also another one since then. I've really enjoyed them so far. Its a bit confusing since I haven't followed it all the way through, but it is certainly the best WWII movie/mini series I have ever seen.

You have good taste

Whoa, I hadn't seen this topic before. But I love band of brothers. I watched it when it was on HBO and also on the History channel and also I own the dvd(s). I'm a big WWII buff, so this is my cup of tea. Its so much better than everything else out there.
