Talksox Faces Decisions Ahead of Friday’s Nontender Deadline
Friday yields yet another quirk in baseball’s offseason schedule, as websites begin the slow process, culminating in March, of paring their rosters down. By 11:59 p.m. Talksox, like all Major League Baseball websites, must decide which posters to tender contracts to for the 2013 season — anyone who isn’t extended an offer becomes a cyber free agent. Unlike some other sites, however, Talksox has some very tough choices on who to tender an offer to and who to let drift into the cloud. Perhaps the poster most on the bubble right now is Jacksonianmarch, who may be expendable as Talksox has just signed God, wants to bring y228 back, and has options like SeaBeachFred available for the bench.
