 The Moose must be very pleased.

lol, true, but Moose made it clear the other day that he understands that he was no lock to keep pitching. But I'll repeat what I said earlier, he is not necessarily out of the rotation, he is just being skipped.

It's about time. The only good thing about this is that if the Yankees make the playoffs, no way that he makes the playoff rotation.

This is a sure sign that George is muttering to himself in a corner somewhere. There is no way in hell George would sign off on having so many rookies on a team. I like it though, because anyone is better than the Moose. Unfortunately, Kennedy is running out of innings (his cap is 150 and he is 14 from that) so this may be a one and done kind of thing.

I was thinking about that too, but apparently it's not the case. Cashman was asked specifically if Kennedy could start every five days for the rest of the season, and he said yes.

Sooo will he have 10 days of no pitching whatsoever or will he make appearances out of the bullpen?

they said that he will be making no appearances in games. He will be pitching on the side trying to build up arm strength or regain it from dead arm. It sounds like we'll be going with 24 into battle until sept 1.

Woe is us. Think, Jacko. The 1st is Saturday, you know, Moose's next start on regular rest. So the 24 those guh-ritty, guh-utty Yankees will be going with are the regular 24. Oh how they battle adversity. Give me a break.
