Nice. Papi smoked that. You know that Youk is looking to make up for his K, maybe he can come through here

Drew for the third out. No surprise there.

Cuddyer reminds me of Dewey Evans when he throws like that.

Bases loaded, nobody out...just one run despite Youk's line drive.

Re: 5/11 @ Twinkies
I can really come to appreciate the catching Mirabelli did for Wakefield all these years.

Re: 5/11 @ Twinkies
We are back to the usual Wakefield torture. Last game was a rare gem.

Re: 5/11 @ Twinkies
Did I hear right before that Cash is hitting .360? That's almost.200 pts higher than Mirabelli had hit over the last few years.

Well the way I think about it, if Mirabelli only caught every five days for Wakefield, I'm willing to take a drop in one batter for some better defesne, especially when it involves a knuckleballer. Just my thought. We had good enough bats without Mirabelli hitting well.

Re: 5/11 @ Twinkies
Tito goes to get him after the game is lying motionless and bleeding on the canvass. 5 runs was enough. He never should have let him come out to start the inning. He waited until the Twins had put us away.

Mirabelli had passed balls too, plus he couldn't throw out Frank Thomas on a steal attempt.

Not saying Mirabelli was perfect, far from it. But in my opinion, defensively speaking, when Wakefield is on the mound, I felt less distressed if Mirabelli was behind the plate. If anything to reduce the passed balls, not so much throwing out a batter.
